BLOC PARTY IS THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD. PERIOD.
Right, now that that's outta the way... So yeah, as promised, I've started on new art... And (as promised) I'm trying to do some drawing again, seeing as I quit drawing around 3 years ago... This is the 1st drawing I did of Kele (Bloc Party's lead vocalist). Its pretty close up, and yeah I know its not all that good yet - it doesn't quite look like him, but I quite enjoyed it, pity that this doesn't do the original on paper justice... Anyway I'm planning on doing a whole series of all the band members in black and white... This is the first of Kele, will probably start the second one of him as soon as I've uploaded this... Keep an eye out for those, will post links as I put up the newest ones. This particular drawing was done from a still out of Bloc Party's "Helicopter" video... The original still is in my scraps, [link] for comparison. Technical: *Done with all soft and dark pencils - from 4B - 8B (I'm seriously gonna need a new 8B, its like a stump now) *Completed (at 3am) on a slightly smaller than A3 page Anyway please add your critiques/thoughts/comments, they are always very much appreciated!
